This image was captured by Bryant Larsen a photographer from Northern California on a dramatically illuminated morning from the momentarily flooded Yosemite valley floor. with a slightly slowed exposure allowing time to soften the definition in the moving water and the morning light to paint the dew in its path. The artist selected acrylic glass to be the ideal medium for this piece serving two purposes; firstly to purvey the feeling of significance and quality of the piece without the distraction of a frame, as well as to draw out the subtleties and details of the monochromatic composition.
